In order to present new products, the medical technology provider BD has previously been at congresses, conferences and on-site with customers. A customized showroom in laboratory design now makes it possible to present products in a digital way, independent of time and place, and to show the entire workflow of an experiment in a virtual environment. The Smart Country Convention (SCCON for short) is an event organized by Messe Berlin and Bitkom that has been bringing together top representatives from the federal, state and local governments since 2018. At the convention fair, which took place as a live event in the past, everything is about digitization in the public sector. Modern administration, digitalized authorities and networked cities are more important for our economy than ever before. In 2020 and 2021, SCCON was implemented as a special edition with the rooom eventCloud.

With our event software, we continue the virtual event series of the German energy company E.ON. After the successful digital Energy Innovation Days 2020, E.ON uses our tools this year to connect its community. Together, we have created the E.ON Republic of Innovators in a customised design, where virtual events take place throughout the year. In the virtual meeting place, which is accessible free of charge, every member of the community becomes an “innovation citizen” and has the opportunity to network with energy experts and exchange ideas about a sustainable energy world.
